    J. W. Masters store in downtown Fredericksburg at 601 Main Street (later Caroline). It was torn down in mid 20th century to make way for a multi story office building which was eventually bought by the city in 2003 for city offices. It is known as "Big Ugly." In the photo there are five men, and a woman all wearing hats, standing outside the store which sold paints, sash, doors and blinds according to lettering on the windows.
